I just wanted to send a note to thank you guys for an awesome summer of paddling adventures. I've never been camping or canoeing before and I've absolutely loved every trip I've been on with you, it's so great to be able to share the experience with my dog. Colleen more>

For our American Friends

A typical day consists of waking up to the sounds of birds chirping while the sun rises over a calm and crystal clear lake.

You will be greeted by a delicious buffet breakfast that will often consist of your choice of bacon and eggs, toast, hot & cold cereals, english muffins, fresh fruit, pancakes or crepes and coffees, teas and juice.

The group will then set out on a wonderful day of paddling, swimming and exploring the natural beauty of the area. We will stop at an island for a lovely picnic lunch which will include anything from falafel's, tuna salad in a pita, cold cut sandwiches, fruits and other snacks. Swimming and playing frisbee with the dogs in the water, practicing our newly learned paddling strokes, and exploring the rocky shorelines while we leisurely make our way back to the campsite will ensure that a hot meal will be well received back at camp.

Once back at the campsite we can relax, write in our journals, go for a swim, play cards or just sit by the lake.

Dinner is our favorite meal as we all enjoy sitting by the fire and reminiscing about our day over a delicious meal which could be chicken stir fry, fettuccine Alfredo, canoe tripper's pie, pea soup and bancock, pizzas and panzerotoos or any other creative treats that your mind can muster up. All complimented by fresh salads, warm bread and a bottle of wine. Yum!

After dinner, we love to get a roaring campfire going and often sit by the fire watching a beautiful sunset before the bright northern stars appear. Sometime we enjoy playing some of our favorite songs on the guitar, or maybe just sit and watch the loon
